As I further examine the #TruckersForFreedom #TruckerConvoy2022 grift & op, here’s my guess on what’s happening (I hope someone does an analysis with software I don’t possess @DFRLab). I suspect the “donations” are being laundered through a troll farm. Along w/ fake account posts

Ms Lich keeps increasing the goal amount as “donations” come in every minute or every few minutes. Fake donations laundered through a troll farm type apparatus wld be in small amounts done more frequently in order to appear authentic, in addition to real donations by the gullible

But that’s not all. There is coordinated messaging across #Conservative propaganda media. Disinformation 101. Make a lie displace truth. RW disinformation posing as “news” has been steadily promoting this op & pumping out a false narrative (& asking for $$ 🙄) #TruckersForFreedom

#TruckersForFreedom #TruckerConvoy2022 disinformation is coordinated across social media then amplified by RW “influencers”. All to create a narrative to the public that this is an organic movement, instead of what it is: an op…& a companion hustle grift. #cdnpoli

Note too all the #Conservative politicians peddling the same falsehoods like “empty shelves” & attacking vaccine mandates. (Even though truckers can’t cross into the US because of 🇺🇸 vax mandates). We’ve seen similar ops exploiting fears before: #UnitedWeRoll, Tea Party in 🇺🇸 etc

‘Fake news’ propaganda sites that have sprung up in recent years, are presenting a serious threat to democracy. (Past thread in this topic here: ). When coordinated with major political parties (#CPC #GOP) & large media like #Postmedia, #Fox? Very worrying

PS, I doubt it’s a coincidence #TamaraLich’s group chose @ProtonMail for e-transfer “donations”. Proton is fully encrypted 🤔

@gofundme is negotiating with #FreedomConvoy2022. The page is not shut down. Which means people who know what they’re doing are involved in this op.

Adding to this 🧵. One of the possible loopholes to avoid accountability re #TruckersConvoy2022 grift (& possibly @gofundme terms of service) is by stating on the donation page that #TamaraLich is the beneficiary. Also, some interesting patterns emerging in the donations 🤔.
