Three Roles of Interledger Protocol:
A Sender, Receiver, or Connector

Connectors are entities with accounts on two or more ledgers who act as liquidity providers that relay payments across ledgers

In a separate paper I was researching #ILP & this was the technical proof I found they can use $XRP for settlement of payment channels

Even though Project Stella doesn't mention $XRP, They are talking about Interledger pay channels which CAN settle via #XRP⏬ @Interledger

I added the third photo for reference again.

I'm just connecting the dots, it is possible they use other currency ledger payment channels for settlement. But I am assuming $XRP could be a pay channel that is used.

Overview of experiments & results of experiments ⏬

From this, it seems like Interledger Protocol will be a very common interoperability protocol in the future of payments.

The question is when will it go through its mainstream adoption phase.
