Armenian sources reports that PM Nikol Pashinyan will hold an emergency meeting of the Security Council soon. Sputnik is also reporting a meeting and saying that police are on alert.

Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia gave an order to put the rescue departments of Gegharkunik, Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions on high alert.

The shelling continues in Ishkhanasar, Syunik region. The village itself was not damaged, but the grass in its vicinity caught fire, local residents told Sputnik Armenia.

Armenia MoD has released a new statement: "The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as of 04:00 remains extremely difficult. The enemy continues intensive shelling from artillery pieces, mortars, UAVs and large-caliber guns at military and civilian facilities.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reports that Azerbaijani units in some sections of the border "took actions to advance their positions." Fighting is ongoing.

#Armenia's MoD: As of 05:00, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has not changed. The enemy continues to use artillery in the directions of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris and Kapan. Positional battles are going on in separate sections of the border.

The MoD continous by saying that "both the military and civilian infrastructure of Armenia are being shelled. Information about losses is specified."

The US are concerned:

A fire broke out in the Sotk region due to Azerbaijani shelling, according to Sputnik Armenia

Sputnik is now also reporting that Jermuk was left without electricity.
