Important that above approval is only as a booster dose after already having taken 2 shots of either Covishield or Covaxin.
GOI affidavit 26 June 2021 includes 30 crore doses of Bio E to be used as 2 anti-covid vaccine shots.
At that time, it was still undergoing trial !
According to the affidavit an amount of Rs 1500 crores was given to Biological E on 2 June, 2021 for 30 crore doses, even as the vaccine Bio E or Corbevax had not cleared trials. It only got partial approval on 4 June 2022. Wonder what happened to that money ? Anyone ?
Strangely enough in the same affidavit where the GOI mentions procuring 10 crore doses of Sputnik vaccines, there is no detail of even a single penny having being paid for it
