The materials released online contained, among other things, justifications for Russia's occupation of Ukraine. more than 100,000 SIM cards were used to register the said accounts. They were seized by police officers.
31 people involved in the activity were identified. In addition to SIM cards, more than 100 pieces of computer equipment, 150 cell phones and about 300 GSM gateways were confiscated.

Russians are building GSM gateways in Europe where they use local phone cards to register accounts on twiter, youtube or facebook - these accounts are then forwarded to headquarters in Moscow. where propagandists are busy manipulating comments on social media.
