Well I said I would make a thread about Elizabeth Warren, who is another possible presidential contender I continue to see getting brought up so let's get started.
Like most of my other threads, she can be linked back to a NYTimes article celebrating legalized bribery and "blitzing the New York money circuit".
She is supposedly the 2nd most progressive member of Congress, with Bernie Sanders being the first, and while she does good things like rail against banks all the time like everyone should be doing, she also votes to give Donald Trump $700 billion for war. leftvoice.org/Elizabeth-Warr…
According to the article, this budget included $705 million towards Israel's war against the Palestinians, as well as $600 million in anti-Russian build up in Ukraine and the Baltic.
Back in September of 2016, Elizabeth Warren signed onto a letter (and 87 other senators by the way) pressuring Obama not to back international measures that would pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories. mondoweiss.net/2016/09/behold…
This is not the first instance of working on the behest of AIPAC. Back in 2014, she was confronted by a constituent after voting to give $225 million to Israel's Iron Dome, and to which she responded with Netanyahu talking points. theintercept.com/2014/08/28/eli…
The article for said bill can be found over on Bloomberg, but I'm not getting a subscription to that either. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
Recently back in April, it appears she has recognized that Israel shoots unarmed protesters, but responds like a politician saying she is deeply concerned. theintercept.com/2018/04/12/isr…
She hasn't voted for many of Trump's cabinet nominees, unlike some of the Republican knucklehead Democrats like Joe Manchin. She did however, vote to confirm Ben Carson and went on Masslive to defend it. masslive.com/politics/index…
What is Ben Carson doing right now you may ask. Well he's busy raising the cost of living for poor people. truthdig.com/articles/the-c…
Back when the protests were going on at DAPL, the Democratic establishment was largely ignoring it even as protesters were getting brutalized. Elizabeth Warren finally came out after it was all over to support it and claim a small victory. observer.com/2017/02/democr…
She has been accused of turning her back on Native Americans after exploiting them. observer.com/2016/11/sen-wa…
In an Op Ed for CNN, Simon Miya-Smith, the culture editor at Indian Country Today, says "Ever since the controversy surrounding her contested background became public discourse in 2012, Warren has avoided Indian country like an ex". www-m.cnn.com/2016/06/29/opi…
"Warren continues to perpetuate a false reality of who Native Americans are today, while in turn, inadvertently or not, encouraging the claims of millions of convenient Indians who identify as Native American for their own gain."
The Hill says that Elizabeth Warren can unify Democrats and take back the house. I disagree with uniting under a banner of centrism. thehill.com/opinion/campai…
This is an interview Elizabeth Warren did with @cenkuygur over on TYT and there are a few key points to point out. Roughly around 14:40 she decides to defend one of the most Republican Democrats, Joe Manchin, who btw voted for every shitty nominee.
She was asked why she didn't endorse Bernie Sanders during the primary in 2016, and I believe @RealTimBlack put it the best. She responded with word salad and platitude.
Near the end of the TYT interview when Cenk asks Elizabeth Warren what the Democrats should be concentrating on for the next elections, she actually responds with Russia.
What I could take from the whole interview is that she can speak like a progressive, but is completely unwilling to look at the Democrats critically like most progressives should, and diverts important questions to talk about Republicans.
That's all for now, so far I've got threads for Deval Patrick, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Joe Kennedy Ill, Elizabeth Warren now, and the Democratic Party as a whole and their organizations like the DNC and DCCC, and what they are trying to pull on progressives.
I'm adding this article from Talking Points Memo about Ben Carson's failure to protect children from lead paint, which was the issue Elizabeth Warren brought up to defend her vote for Carson. talkingpointsmemo.com/news/hud-failu…
Something tells me that Elizabeth Warren isn't super concerned about Palestinian rights.

A project I have decided to put together specifically for the so called moderate voter, the ones that somehow like the policies of Bernie Sanders, yet vote for Joe Biden because the media lied to them about Biden being electable in the general election #NotMeUs#BidenLosesToTrump
To be clear, I won't be voting for either Biden or Trump in the general election, they have both harmed far too many people with their policy decisions. #NeverBiden
We can start with the post second Super Tuesday coverage in the media, who managed to pull their head out of their ass just long enough to be like, oh, maybe all those young people aren't going to show up for Biden, which is correct.
[THREAD] #NoWarWithIran. I'm going to put everything I know about Iran and the push for war by the bipartisan neocon war hawks in Congress, the Trump administration, and especially the corporate media which uniformly pushes for more wars 24/7.
The good news is that most people seem to already know of the CIA backed overthrowing of Iran's democratically elected government in 1953, but just in case.
The video goes onto say that after the British, these five companies then had 40% of Iran's oil. The wars for oil go way back.
[THREAD] The corporate media has been hard at work pushing Pete Buttigieg to a national spotlight as a progressive. The corporate media also lies though, all the time, and I take the supposed lack of a record as a challenge.
First, you can always count on CNN to have the dumbest takes thanks to Chris Cillizza. cnn.it/2Fr1ijJ

Way overdue to make a thread for the hundred millionaire neoliberal duchess of corporate Democrats void of all ideas except for fundraising to buy the leadership of the house, Nancy Pelosi.
Especially since she has been endorsed by this jagoff to be the leader again, which is what the Republicans want by the way to keep winning in the Midwest. politi.co/2JLRwJi
It could also be that Pelosi said she would handcuff the Democratic agenda by introducing Pay-Go to kill off any progressive legislation that actually helps the many, not the few. interc.pt/2MKWCKx
When a career corporatist politician says that they deserve the presidency because they are the most qualified or have the most experience, the experience they have is usually a long list of how to be a horrible person. politi.co/2rlUnQK
