Every time I see this wikipedia page it once-again blows my mind that Apple is shipping chips in *phones* with 8MB of *L2* cache:

To put that in perspective, here's the fastest shipping chip in the Android ecosystem that I'm aware of today: en.wikichip.org/wiki/samsung/e…
It has 2MB of L2 cache and 4MB of L3.

Apple is just dominating here. They're 1+ year ahead, no matter how you look at it.
There's more cache per-core in an Apple part than most Android SoCs put in the entire package.
The wealth gap between rich and poor users can be measured in mm^2 of CPU cache.

The thing to understand about buybacks is that they serve no legitimate economic purpose. They're pure transfer; no surplus.
We use public policy to, in general, encourage firms to do things that create Economic Surplus: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_…
Not all surplus-creating transactions are socially valuable, of course, and we do lots with the public purse to pursue transfers to create equality of opportunity and the environment necessary for trade.

Cerise sur le gâteau : les titres des paragraphes sont identiques à ceux de Wikipedia (copy-paste oblige).
Le "magazine" liste ensuite les différents modèles d'avions qui ont marqué l'histoire de Boeing. Et là, ô surprise, 100% des textes sont plagiés.
