I have been ill recently, both physically and mentally. I have spent the past ten days avoiding news and politics like the plague. I have grown in nearly a full beard, which if you knew me well, you'd find remarkable for any number of reasons.

I have read six full books and finished @MichelleObama's lovely and inspiring "Becoming."

Next to Clinton's "What Happened," I can't think of another book that every American seriously wanting to annoy the orange Pretender to the Throne, should buy, read, and exchange.

Thanks to @PBS's miracle #Passport I have caught up with several beloved series that I had fallen behind on, including Grantchester, the Durrells In Corfu, Victoria, and Poldark.

I recommend all of them.

I'm by no means done here or out of things to say, but having spent so much of the last 3 years holding my breath I found that exhaling a bit after midterms uncovered a rather deep emotional well.

I'm reading lots & listening to @LoveTinaTurner & @BettyBuckley constantly.
