Why I deleted Twitter from my phone...

No, it's not clickbait. A few days ago I deleted the Twitter app from my phone. For the last 18 months, on a daily basis, at almost every hour, I've been on this platform sharing content...

I never thread, so bear with me👇

During the same time, my company @BitcoinBravado has put out thousands of hours of free & premium content to more than 65k subs & 1500+ community members and I've LOVED every minute of it.

Bravado isnt going anywhere. In fact its quite the opposite; more on that later...👇

People close to me know my struggle with mental health and then a few months back I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

With sometimes debilitating physical symptoms (muscle spasms, pain, tremors, etc) it's been a scary year in the unknown, health-wise...👇

I ask for no sympathy on that front, I'm extremely fortunate to be otherwise healthy🙏

However, I decided a few months ago that I'd take some time and step away from Twitter to focus on my mental & physical health as well as my businesses...👇

Truth be told, I just found myself becoming too dependent on Twitter. Health, sleep, relationships all took a back seat to putting out another tweet.

I know, stupid right? 😅

But crypto is my whole life...trading, researching, advising, networking & yes, tweeting...👇

Social media at this scale has a lot of negative implications for anyone, let alone for someone with a history of depression & anxiety.

So what's next??

In fact Ill be logging in from my cpu a few times per day to check messages, shoot a few tweets out & troll my friends...I just wont be connected at the hip.

Ill also still be streaming on YouTube MWF at 11:30am CST & sharing my day to day on Instagram (same handle)...👇

I intend to come back full-force in January, but it may take longer🤷‍♂️

I also have some HUGE updates on the business side to be announced🙌

Even though I've been in crypto since 2015 my journey in this industry is really just beginning. But sometimes we all need to take a step back.

We need to focus on and appreciate those around us here, in the real world...👇
