O verbo "to run" nem sempre é "correr", sabia?

Neste thread vou mostrar pra vocês como podemos aplicá-lo com significados bem diferentes. Run with me :D
To run a business

Aqui o verbo to run é traduzido como “administrar” ou “dirigir”. No caso da expressão, traduz-se como “Dirigir um negócio”
To run around in circles

Um pouco mais lento que correr. Andar, vagar em círculos.

To run away

Escapar, fugir, vazar. Sair em disparada.
To run for office

Candidatar-se a uma eleição. Office nesse caso não significa escritório, mas mandato político.
To run into debt

Contrair dívidas

To run out of

Ficar sem. Por exemplo: to run out of gas significa ficar sem gasolina.
To run out of time

Nao ter mais tempo. Ficar sem tempo para fazer alguma coisa.
