Sudah waktunya kita buka mata dan hati, menyikapi dengan serius dan hadir untuk seseorang yg mempunyai kehendak mengakhiri hidup. Kadang kita masih anggap hal tersebut hanya sebatas candaan saat mereka mengirim sinyal meminta pertolongan.

It was in 2011, when i felt so lonely, empty&depressed bcs of my mood swing. i'm ready to jump from 25th floor apartemen daerah Ciumbuleuit, kalo aj caregiver gw saat itu telat, mgkn badan gw udah nyampe ke lantai dasar dgn tdk berbentuk. Thanks Andi for being there to saved me.

And in 2001 when i was in high school, i was depressed karena dibully because of my mood swing. i have no friends & i'm all alone.

i slist my wrist & my father found me covered with blood in my room. Dilarikan kerumah sakit dan terselamatkan. Bekasnya pun masih ada sampai skrg.

the last one in 2014, i almost tried to kill myself again because of my bipolar. I'm ready to jump dr salah satu JPO di MT Haryono dgn harapan ketika jatuh lgsg ditabrak bus/truk. but my mom in law saved me and hugged me "everything's will be alright Najmi. Mama disini." She said

I could say that i'm lucky enough, karena mereka adalah orang2 terdekat yang bisa menangkap sinyal minta pertolongan dari gw saat itu and they took it seriously bahkan tidak berpikir bahwa pesan singkat pamitan dan minta maaf yang gw kirim saat itu adalah candaan.

First, always take threats of suicide seriously. Don’t try criticize them for thinking about suicide or try to make them feel guilty about it because anyway orang yang sedang dalam keinginan mengakhiri hidup actually they're not thinking clearly so dont make it more worst ok

If u're with them in person, stay there and just don’t leave them alone. Try for being available, supportive and as understanding as best as you possibly can may help them to feel better.

Your family and bestfriends are waiting for u and wishing u happiness. They will always love you no matter what.
