La Carmagnole est une chanson révolutionnaire, écrite après la prise des Tuileries (10 aout 1792). Chanson des sans-culottes qui s'en prend au roi, à la reine, aux aristocrates
le premier couplet, auquel le graff fait allusion est :
"Madame Véto avait promis de faire égorger tout Paris"

Mme Véto est la reine, ainsi appelée car le roi avait constitutionnellement le droit de véto sur les décrets de l'Assemblée et en abusait
