So it is particularly disturbing to see people using PMQs, of all things, to name-call as a particularly vile Tory did this week. Especially as an image of the person she targeted was being used as an ACTUAL target by the British army. Are their memories really so short?

Have they forgotten entirely that one of their number was assassinated by a politically-motivated lunatic not so long ago? Gunned down in the street for the crime of doing her job?

The thing I regret most about Brexit is that in the eyes of some it appears to have legitimised

the kind of hatred which led to the death of Jo Cox. It has provided an unwelcome view of the racist, jingoistic underbelly of the Tory party which frankly is no surprise, but it has also shown how readily some communities swallow the bullshit they are fed by the tabloids

World War 2 had been over for more than a decade when I was born, yet shiny-faced fucknozzle MPs who are years younger than me are happy to jump to their feet and ‘remind’ Europe that we ‘rescued’ them from the Hun? Seriously, get the fuck over it.

When this entire Brexit shitshow is finally over, the nation is going to need to take a good, hard look in the mirror and see what it has become, because right now it feels like we are the embodiment of the picture of Dorian Gray, and I don’t like us very much.
