I would never ask a team/individual to do this on a regular basis...but damn, the impact it would have. Or not? Maybe that is the problem.
It feels that there's always this point where the reality *is* in the room. The writing is on the wall. But teams find a way to rationalize/explain it all away.
Another challenge is that the red square (context switching/restarting) is very easy to miss. You can pretend to be effective. And also blame yourself, not want to believe you're that vulnerable.
