It's appalling that in 2019 @SenGillibrand, who has fought for sexual assault victims, taken on the Sect of Defense and saved countless victims has been demonized for being one of 32 Democratic senators calling for Franken's resignation after the EIGHTH woman came forward

No one blinked when #JohnConyers was asked to resign after 30yrs of brilliant work (as opposed to one Senate term) for sexual misconduct.
It's ALMOST like folks only cared about the white guy they used to watch on SNL. Because it surely wasn't about the actual record.

Franken was replaced by a far more progressive woman, Tina Smith, who was never accused of sexual misconduct. She has been a terrific senator. Stop blaming women for men's actions.
