Misbehave, and you are targeted with punitive measures. Even if you are related to someone who misbehaves, that will cost you as well. The incentive is to keep your relatives on the straight and narrow.

Using data collected through various channels, the system aims to regulate behaviour of the entire Chinese nation’s 1.3 billion people.

Similar to financial tracking systems, the Chinese social credit system is designed to engineer social behaviour.

Modern technology has enabled China to monitor the everyday mundane activities and behaviour choices of its citizens, like the amount of time spent playing video games, or a propensity for spreading fake news on social media.

Yes, this is Big Brother on steroids.

But it gets much worse. China is exporting this technology to other like minded governments, like Venezuela, Pakistan, Iran, Kenya, Zimbabwe.

How long before a Social Credit System is adopted by western developed nations?

It’s already here.

While it isn’t as coordinated as the Chinese system, the technology is already here and is being used in Canada and the US.

I recently returned from Mexico to the Edmonton International Airport. Required to take a facial scan, along with my husband and 17 year old to get through customs. My 10 year old was exempt from the facial scan until he is 12. Our personal identification attached to our photos.

Imagine the control a government has by using a social credit system.

If LGBTQ behaviour is banned, monitoring those identified as “at risk”, is possible.

Dislike the faiths others are practicing? Share the identity of worshippers with corporations to prevent advancement.

To increase church attendance? Block children of atheists and agnostics from universities. Limit post secondary acceptance to regular church attendance.

Hate info that challenges or refutes your ideology? Remove ability to share electronically. Monitor personal associations.

The implications are chilling.

Technology meant to increase communication, information sharing and interconnectedness is quite easily adapted to engineer all social behaviour to the prevailing government’s approval.

Is there evidence ideologues want to control behaviour?

Damn right there is.

In Alberta, Kenney, the UCP, and several ideological supporters have identified dissent to their ideological beliefs & values as dangerous, subversive & objectionable. A $30M fund to root out & silence climate change advocates has been publicly announced.

Would Kenney and UCP use technology to socially engineer acceptable social behaviour?

Kenney & several others are accused of identity fraud and cheating to secure the UCP leadership.

Since UCP was elected, opposition criticism is labeled as subversive, abusive, radicalized.

There’s a reason @charlesadler is beaconing panicked messages about the intent of CPC and his former friend of 20 years(Kenney). Because he’s finally acknowledged what this ideology is all about.

Vote in CPC, I personally guarantee some form of formalized social credit engineering will follow nationally.

Analyze CPC narratives. It’s more subtle than Kenney, but Scheer, and his minions, repeatedly state opposition and dissent of their values & beliefs is objectionable.

National unity is PM’s fault because he supports climate action.

Acknowledging impacts on women is a smear.

Requiring truth in political narratives of third parties is “silencing opposition.”

What’s the common theme? Liberalism and progressive ideology is bad, divisive, anti-faith based, devalues male dominance, is subversive.

It’s unacceptable to the CPC ideological beliefs & values.

It’s more subtle than Kenney & UCP. So let’s compare.

Kenney is much more blatant, incendiary and autocratic in his delivery of the same narrative.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that he wants to suppress dissent.

What about other CPC candidates?

Nuanced, subtle, but clear.

Liberals/progressives bad, conservatives good.

Our rights, freedoms, & privacy are on the October 2019 ballot.

If you’re angry a strategic vote is required, it’s the conservatives who have forced your hand. We CAN NOT split the vote. Conservatives are that frightening of an option, we must ensure they never get in power.

Get out the Progressive vote, or surrender your human rights, speech, choice of association, ability to make a salary or get ahead, religious choice; your freedom.

Strategically vote for the progressive with the best opportunity to defeat the conservative candidate.

Educate your friends, neighbours, family members, whomever you can, about what is at stake.

Our freedom is on the ballot.

We also need to DEMAND privacy laws and regulations are strengthened to ensure a social credit system is banned in Canada from ever being created.

Contact your MP or write a snail mail letter to the PM that this MUST be in the liberal policy platform for October 2019.

This isn’t a joke or hyperbolic.

The technology already exists. One party is itching to employ it.

If you value your personal liberty, this MUST be addressed immediately. Demand personal liberty be protected in Canada by banning social credit systems & social engineering.
