How to know if the demos have been cancelled or postponed:

Apologies, this is quick and dirty, but it gets the job done.

There's a lot (A LOT) of fake information being actively spread on social media.

Nah really, you yourself have to point your browser to those pages &look. At this stage, I wouldn't even trust clicking on a link to the pages - links can be spoofed!

No trusting what looks like a retweet of a message from the MDC. DEFINITELY no trusting a picture of something.
And someone with a little time, please make a better flow chart to share with people - it will be useful in the days ahead!

Those planning to participate in the #FreeZimbabwe demonstrations, and those supporting them:

Be cautious of those speaking like they are with you, but advocating violence.

The forces against you are hard at work, trying to frame this demonstration as something it is not.
Even those that have allied with you for a long time: they may be a victim of propaganda, or they may be compromised, or worse they were never really with you.

There is no violence called for in these demos, for any reason.

Also be aware of the naysayers; insulate your mind & spirit against them.

They will grow louder & noisier as the demos draw nearer.

I'm not a Zimbabwean. I'm not in Zimbabwe. I will not suffer the brutality of the regime alongside you.

I can analyze, form opinions, and share those with you. What you do with that is up to you.

Getting unpleasantly intoxicated with the OVERLY positive reactions EVERYWHERE regarding HBO’s Chernobyl. Literally from every possible social media place - twitter, facebook, instagram. Why? Will put a few thoughts below
First of all, I am not going to beat my chest and claim to be the biggest expert on Chernobyl - despite filming four half-hour documentaries in the Zone and spending a whole week there once.

But. I’ve also read thousands of pages, including declassified KGB archives.
I’ll start with the positives. Chernobyl - or, rather, first four episodes of it - is indeed a brilliantly executed work of art. Particularly when it comes to visualization.

I wont hide it. As a man who’s head was gone after the first visit to the Zone - some scenes made me cry

<20% of Americans actually believe the liberal agenda. It seems like 50% because the media pushes their agenda through propaganda non-stop.

If conservatism were NOT presented as a fringe/extreme agenda, how many Americans would identify with our policies? >80% without a doubt.
