#PortlandRally I was never much for protests or rallies. I get why folks want to confront these Nazis losers but it just plays into their plans. IMO best to just let the pathetic losers do their little rally. Non-violence is the only way to defeat these folks.
Trump wants violence. People who think they are helping deal with a fascist in the @WhiteHouse by giving him a pretext are misguided and IMO appear, whether wittingly or unwittingly, to be working for Trump. Go home folks. Register voters. It's much more constructive.
@WhiteHouse Remember, the GRU infiltrated Democratic Party groups in 2016.
@WhiteHouse I personally don't think you can be a loyal American and not be against fascism. We fought a World War to defeat Fascism. That settled the issue IMO both morally and Constitutionally. But any groups that advocate violence do not advance that cause.
@WhiteHouse The fact that right wing group is leaving area could be because they know provocateurs in left wing group are about to commence violence. You folks don't have a clue who you're dealing with. Get away from anyone claiming to be #Antifa. All violence is bad. #PortlandProtest
@WhiteHouse Anyone who has studied the rise of Nazi party in Germany knows this playbook. Go home folks. Leave the Antifa there. Many are likely GRU or Trump backed fascists. Please don't get tricked. This is an old play. @PortlandPolice
@WhiteHouse@PortlandPolice Here is an image from my youth. We ended the Vietnam War and eventually forced Nixon to resign. Had we reverted to violence, Nixon would have never left office. I'm certain of that . Don't help the Fascists. Shun all domestic political violence. Antifa are not helping.
@WhiteHouse@PortlandPolice Sadly #Antifa is Trump's best friend. Violence helps him with the moderate base he needs to be re-elected. I understand why people express political frustration in such ways but it has never been successful in US as means to defeat this white supremacist evil.
It's that rare form of courage that you're willing to be beaten for a cause but not to fight for it. @repjohnlewis & the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's had that special courage. IMO If #Palestinians adopted non-violence rather than #Hamas they'd have a state by now.
And thankfully, Portland is not Selma in the 60s. Looks like the very professional @PortlandPolice have things well in hand and are withdrawing some of their officers. On the 50th anniversary of Woodstock it's worth remembering a little peace can go a long way. 😎

Donald Trump's somewhat childish posts showing Barack Obama being arrested tells me that the review of the Epstein files hit a lot of evidence that linked him to the trafficking. He wasn't POTUS then and there is no
immunity and no statute of limitations. He must be going nuts. I'm seeing posts of videos that I've never seen before. One shows a large group of very young girls dressed in white with both Trump and Epstein looking at them like deranged child predators.
It makes me wonder if this is being released to destroy him. If the report of Vance meeting with the Murdochs is accurate, Vance could be diverting his attention from his apparent betrayal by feeding him the "Obama did it" party line.
I try to make sense out of otherwise bizarre facts. Trump has always been careful about Epstein and there's sworn court evidence that he was involved in his crimes. But his sudden decision to diss the MAGA cult's biggest obsession, with the predicable blowback is puzzling.
What if it isn't just about Trump? What if it's about the Mossad and the long-reported Epstein connection to shadowy Mossad operations that used American and foreign Israel supporters to perform intelligence operations?
There’s historical and investigative reporting around the concept of “Sayanim" (Hebrew: סייענים, meaning “helpers” or “assistants”), which refers to unpaid Jewish civilians who assist Mossad operations out of loyalty to Israel.
I woke up today with a plan to read Justice Coney-Barret's opinion on nationwide injunctions. I got about 5 minutes into it and put it down. It was wrong and demonstratively so right out of the gate. It proceeds from a false proposition: That history shows that single
federal courts lack the power to enforce nationwide injunctions against non-parties. That's wrong and I say that after practicing over thirty-years in an area of law with a well-known nationwide injunction that also applies, in circumstances, world-wide.
It's triggered by the filing of a small petition before an Art. 1 federal court with the power referred to it by the Art 3 court and binds all persons immediately. If they act without knowledge of this injunction they'll likely be ordered
Most of the world is making a very big and dangerous mistake about Julani and the HTS regime controlling Syria. He is a Jihadist. An ideologue who has apparently convinced several intelligence services that he will play ball. Perhaps the time he was in Iraq
involved some attempt to recruit him. It just doesn't work that way. He's al-Qaeda and he will never change.
I have for decades believed Hamas was victimizing Palestinians to advance Iran's and other malign actors' goals of maintaining constant conflict with Israel and the US.
I also believe that the manner in which Netanyahu has conducted the war in Gaza constitutes aggressive war and genocide both chargeable under the UN Genocide Convention. The criminal mishandling of the war in Gaza notwithstanding, Israel has a right to eliminate HTS from Syria.
If Trump abandons our Ukrainian allies and instead takes the side of a monster charged with crimes against humanity he risks being charged. His break with our allies means he can't rely on Rome Statute signatories violating their obligation to honor an ICC warrant if he travels.
If Trump finally woke up to the risks that he faces that John Robert's absurd immunity decision can't remedy, he will wisely leave Putin to his fate. With Trump hemorrhaging support within his base, he can't afford to look like a traitor, especially while he allows a drunken
popinjay to destroy our DOD and leak our secrets. Xi is calling out Trump's lies about talks demanding Trump face humiliation by terminating his China tariffs as a condition to talks. Ship sailings from China are down 60% meaning in just weeks US store shelves will be empty.
El Salvadore is a signatory of the Rome Treaty. Is Bukele conspiring with a non-member to violate Rome Statute? Could that be jurisdictional hook to permit @ICC to charge, Bukele, Trump, Vance, Noem, Steven Miller, Pam Bondi, @PressSec, Musk and creepy ICE guy?
SCOTUS 9-0 says Trump is breaking the law and the Constitution. But they don't have the power to force him to stop. If Trump and every Cabinet head involved gets an international arrest warrant if they don't resign, that might shut Trump down. Rome Statute:
