I work on your #righttoknow every single day. My open data projects get over 1 million hits a year but less than 100 people pay for this work. Check it out and see if you'd like to help them support it ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
You can find out more about me at ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
To support your #righttoknow I'm building a project so the public can search & analyse who receives govt grants ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
Commonwealth grants are interesting- think about grants to farmers or grants to the GBR Foundation. Think about grants to religious charities who do not have to report finances. Think about job networks. This data is not searchable pre 2018 anywhere else.
Some organisations get both government grants and tenders. I've made Tenders searchable at ausgov.info/tenders/index.… #righttoknow
Are there even 100 people in Australia who care enough about #righttoknow enough to pay for it? #auspol patreon.com/littlebirdnetw…
I have campaigned relentlessly for years for your right to #privacy ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I actually got publicly insulted for this article published in Innovation Australia innovationaus.com/2019/09/Govt-i…
I interviewed the researcher who blew the whistle on your census data ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I have campaigned relentlessly year after year (including submissions to several Inquiries and consultations) for our civil rights & to hold the powerful to account. My submission to the Inquiry into the 2016 census was referenced twice in the Final Report ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I was involved (unpaid) in the design of the schema of the line-item CSV when the gov decided to make federal budget open data. I often lobby govt about the quality and completeness of open data for answer questions public has.
A former Head of the ABS, praised my submission to the #CensusFail inquiry
I have built multiple projects to enable the public to search and analyse government data for the purpose of financial and political transparency ausgov.info
I receive no money from the government. I am funded directly by the public patreon.com/littlebirdnetw… #righttoknow #pressfreedom
I often (almost always) write things that the government would likely prefer I didn't. ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I write about the Institue of Public Affairs and thinktanks ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
Independent Australia has published several of my articles on privacy, transparency and the cashless welfare card independentaustralia.net/profile-on/ros… #righttoknow
I support your #righttoknow which top-earning corps have made political donations & how much tax they paid in the same year ausgov.info/recipient/inde…
I support your #righttoknow
1) top-earning corps that have made political donations
2) which pollies these corps have given gifts to or if they own shares in them
3) income earned & tax paid by those corps
4) tender contracts granted - all on one page! ausgov.info/recipient/tax_…
I support your #righttoknow who is meeting NSW Ministers with the NSW Ministerial diaries - Here are the results for meetings that mention 'gambling' ausgov.info/meetings/index…
Click on the org name to see all the meetings they've had with NSW Ministers eg Clubs NSW ausgov.info/meetings/index…
I support your #righttoknow about the NFP sector. I list the top charities by assets, revenue, government funding, donations received, main activity, electorate and country of operation. eg here are top charities for govt funding ausgov.info/charities/inde…
If you put a keyword like 'women' in the search field, you can get every matching charity listed by government funding. Mouse over icons for finances or click on the other tabs for aggregate finances for all matching charities ausgov.info/charities/inde…
If you click on the charity name, you get registration details plus grants, tenders and DGR records that match. This scope of this data does not exist elsewhere ausgov.info/charities/tabl…
I also look right into the detail of any data that might not yet be on the public record and lobby to have it added for your #righttoknow ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I even look into the reasons why religious charities may not be flagged in the data as religious charities ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I support your #righttoknow what is missing from the public record: I analyse the pecuniary interests register for it's missing and tell you ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I support your #righttoknow by making the interests register searchable and tell you who the most prolific political gift-givers are ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
I support your #righttoknow by analysing gifts to politicians ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…
If I can only get 2 new supporters on a day like today, imagine what every other day is like. Check out ausgov.info - there is a mammoth amount of work there and no paywall.

I've been doing a lot of thinking over the past week about whether I should go ahead and begin work on an autobiography next year. I kept coming up with fears about how people might respond. I realised that my first 25 years is basically a string of abuses against me. 1/
I realised this meant that if I write about this time in my life, I'm potentially picking a fight with everyone who abused me: school, family, community ie, everyone. I've been worried about repercussions. 2/
Then I realised that yes indeed, everybody did either abuse or neglect me to a damaging extent & that it is probably finally time that I stood up to that so instead of feeling fear, felt the anger on my own behalf that is warranted. 3/

FFS, now Landr is telling me they 'think I might have borrowed my cover art'. They just make this shit up.
One of them is the same image I used in the release of the solo version through them. Wasn't a problem last time. I suppose I should just go along with their games and change the images and see if they come up with another pretend issue.
I think they're just trying to bully people into using the services they pimp through their system. They never provide any actual evidence for why they want more info, so either they don't know or there isn't a reason.

Still waiting for 2 of my orchestral pieces to get through the review system but 3 are through although not yet on Spotify. This is The Storm is Here
They Came For Us is also through
I should probably warn that one is like a soundtrack to a sci-fi movie & includes some sound effects of war. It is definitely not relaxation music! Also now on Apple/iTunes music.apple.com/au/album/they-…

My son's father moved in with his new girlfriend 2 weeks before I gave birth right after he 'donated' his sperm to me to you know, stimulate labour. Men are generous to a fault.
This was way back when the gov was literally just introducing the Child Support Agency. Father told me if I went thru them I'd never get any child support. Gov told me it would be better than court. I never got a cent from CSA till I lobbied gov to introduce a compulsory minimum.
I only got $40 a week for the 8 weeks either side of the birth but only because a feminist legal service (who knew local circumstances) took the father to court. CSA gave me zip till my son started working! Then only $5 per fortnight?

I just love the way SBS news is not explaining that the census is now being used to join a data across all portfolios (in it's pro census story). Because that's not a story, right?
I've never quite felt the same about the ABC news since their coverage of the 2016 census in which they didn't inform their audience that MAJOR changes to our census were being made. The Parl Inquiry critiqued the ABS but not the media for their role in keeping everyone ignorant!
The only reason I realised anything was worth paying attention to at all with the census was because the Pirate Party raised concerns about it & I decided to make an effort to find out if there was any reason to take issue with it. My research turned into ausgov.info/index.php?Topi…

OMG someone invented plastic brass instruments ozwinds.com.au/nuvo-jhorn-min…
I might just end up with my own little plastic orchestra. I can't believe this guy is playing a piece I used to learn on a plastic trumpet. The internet has finally blown my mind.
