I don’t think so. I’m sickened by people who take advantage of their disadvantages like it’s a “get out of a bind for free” card. This isn’t Monopoly.

If indigenous people are insulted by what I say, too bad. I’m indigenous too. And I’m insulted that an “elder” would offer such BS. Like it isn’t possible to smudge and cleanse another office. This is ridiculous. And humiliating.
Trying to rewrite HOC protocol for office assignments because she is literally the last person on the list they will offer an office is bad enough. Pulling an elder in to back her claim is unconscionable.
No traditional indigenous person with integrity I know would ever dream of such a misuse of an elder’s authority or the misrepresentation of traditional protocol.
This is an outrage. I know better, and so does JWR.
