I have been working from home since Thursday last week. Here are some of things I’ve found useful and learnt over the last 10 days. This is my to do list 🙃 1/13
1. Move! Learnt this the hard way as it’s easy to sit @ your desk/bed/dining room table for hours. There are a lot of free work out clips on YouTube. I’ve been doing Yoga with Adrienne - some work outs are only 10 mins so perfect for a midday stretch. 2/13

2. Walk outside - get some fresh air while maintaining social distancing 3/13
3. Switch off the news/social media to focus on work tasks. 4/13
4. Zoom and other platforms are amazing to stay connected with your team and friends. Many companies are offering 90 day free trials of platforms. Mural is a fun way to do brainstorming sessions and create content with others. 5/13

5. Read a book or listen to one on Audible. I’m currently listening to The Dutch House which is narrated by Tom Hanks 6/13
6. Listen to podcasts - I have heaps of suggestions if you need! But in exciting news - @BreneBrown has a new podcast called ‘Unlocking Us’ which was released on the 20th of March 7/13

7. Watch movies - Scott and I watched Forrest Gump last night and it was so good to watch a 90s feel good film. 8/13
8. Create a routine & time table for your working day. Still important to maintain work life balance & not burn out. My todo lists were unrealistic & panicked the 1st few days. Learning to calm things down & work out what deadlines are moveable. I’ve asked for extensions 😱 9/13
9. Face time your buddies and family. Stay socially connected 10/13
10. Sleep! Our sleep has been super disrupted. The world feels like it’s ending. I’m counting down on Med supplies. We are feeling stressed and exhausted and overwhelmed. But sleep is so important to stay well. I’m going to start taking naps. 11/13
11. Eat properly. Don’t just drink wine - as tempting as that might be 😬
I know the supermarkets are crazy. Hoping they calm down this week. Try & shop local or consider meal deliveries or delivery from your fave restaurants. 12/13
We all have different resources and abilities during this time. I’m really tempted to write more as I don’t like finishing on an odd number BUT over to you - share what’s working for you or your ideas for this week 13/13
