We are all going through unprecedented times. Even for the most optimistic person, there are moments that leave the spirit totally deflated. Yet, through the thick dark clouds, a wiry silver lining does makes an appearance to guide us on. (1/N)
Yesterday morning I received a call from Mrs.Sudha Kale a 85yr old elderly lady who was eager to do her bit to fight this grave pandemic and donate Rs.1,00,000/- to PM @narendramodi ji’s ( #PMCARES ) Fund, however she was unable to leave her house due to the lock-down. (2/N)
Mrs.Kale requested if it would be possible for someone from my team to collect the cheque. Even at the age of 85 her compassion and devotion towards a national cause left me deeply inspired, and I told her that it would be collecting the cheque myself, it would be my honour (3/N)
On meeting her, she shared that her late husband Shrinivas Kale ji had once expressed his wish to contribute towards the welfare of Nation, and that she was contributing Rs.1 Lakh to #PMCares to honor his wish and in the memory of Late Shivgauri Kale. (4/N)
This experience, her desire to help the country at her age has filled me with renewed hope & energy for our collective mission. If an 85 yr old can do their bit & inspire positivity so can I, so can we. Somewhere deep inside, I now believe that together we will win this war (5/N)
I salute the millions of Indians who have donated to #PMCARES , contributed in their own way to other funds & NGOs that are committed and focused towards defeating this deadly virus that threatens to tear the entire world apart. You #Inspire Us. (6/6)

Today we all can proudly say that #Pune has overcome the 2nd wave of the #COVID19 Pandemic.
Even with complete disregard by the CM & GoM, our city has successfully won this battle...which was made possible because of the collaborative & united efforts of everyone. 1/8
Medical Professionals, Industry, PMC administration, citizen groups, NGOs, Karyakartas & Councillors across all parties came together and worked tirelessly to help build medical infrastructure & catch up to the demands of the 2nd wave and save lives of hundreds of Punekars. 2/8
We have won the battle, but the only way to win this war & restore normalcy is by vaccinating everyone in #Pune
We have enough proof & data that #vaccines are not only safe, but they have also brought down the pandemic to its knees in cities / countries worst hit than us. 3/8
Just concluded an extensive meeting with Hon. LoP @Dev_Fadnavis ji in Mumbai, and appraised him of the #COVID19 situation in #Pune and discussed the discriminatory politically motivated behavior of Hon. CM @OfficeofUT ji against #Pune and all other cities in Maharashtra.
(1/3)
Devendra ji was highly appreciative of the #PMC@BJP4PuneCity who inspite of zero support from the
state, inspite of constantly being ignored by the Hon. CM has managed to overcome the 2nd wave & reduce its mortality rate drastically.
(2/3)
I also handed over a formal letter to Hon. LoP @Dev_Fadnavis ji requesting him to intervene & ensure the State Govt. implements proactive measures to prevent hoarding, inflated pricing & shortage of #Mucormycosis (black fungus) medication in #Pune and other cities.

The Family's Arrogance is our state's worst enemy...
Where personal agendas have become more important than the welfare of the citizens..
Where a decision taken to satisfy one's ego is now being masqueraded as "Saving the Environment"
Reminder 1) An independent committee instituted by the MVA government itself has said that the shifting of the Metro Car Shed from #aarey to #kanjurmarg will cost an additional Rs.4000 Crores.
How does the state government plan to fund this project ?
Reminder 2) The #kanjurmarg land was previously proposed by the @Dev_Fadnavis Govt. But the the complications caused by claims by private land owners meant the High Court had asked the state to deposit Rs.2400 CR in 2015 incase the decision goes in favor of the land owners.
‘माझे कुटुंब, माझी जबाबदारी’ Hon. CM's pet initiative,while noble in it's intention, is completely flawed in it's execution.
The door-to-door awareness & #Covid19 Screening campaign carried out by diverting our much needed public funds & resources has been a massive failure.(1/5)
Official numbers from the Phase 1 ( 15/09 - 10/10) of the ‘माझे कुटुंब, माझी जबाबदारी’ campaign are either grossly overstated & fudged or are made up from random & fake data collection. They claim that 1029 official teams have already screened 29.93Lakh Punekars for COVID19 (2/5)
Even if it was possible for 1058 teams made up of officials & volunteers to physically visit 9.42 Lakh households across #Pune in just 25 Days, how is that they found only 8735 Citizens with flu like symptoms with only 1233 among them who tested positive for #COVID19 (3/5)
