A doctor of repute with experience in Public Health & Adm shared the following insights on #Corona yesterday.

1. 78% of #Covid19 infections are asymptomatic. Which means people get infected with no symptoms, no isolation, no medication and get cured on their own

2. Of the asymptomatic patients, no trace, isolation or inference is possible.

3. Hardy Indian immunity might be getting the better of asymptomatic cases.

4. Of 22% remaining, 3-5% mortality is being reported. Which means 1.1 person per 100 infected dies of the disease.

5. As of today, with 9240 confirmed cases, there have 332 deaths @ 3.6% mortality, which, practically speaking, is not alarming.

6. As of date 0.00072% of population has been infected and 0.000025% deaths have occurred.

7. We need to take care to contain the spread of #Covid19 but need not be unduly troubled with its outcome.

If one takes valid precautions, there are less than 0.000025% chances of dying of #Corona

While there are 97% chances of dying of old age.
