Let me make it clear!

I am a Civil Engineer by profession.

When I venture into #demonetisation & #COVID19, I am not replacing an economist or an epidemiologist!

I am dissecting the data ALONE, using my professional skill, and my knowledge about the above areas is zilch!

To find right data, analyse it to see the hidden patterns, asking pertinent questions based on sound logical reasoning, resource management, etc. are my strengths.

Many of these skills are acquired through self learning!

Even cohesive writing is tedious exercise for me!

Because I studied in a Malayalam medium Government school during my schooling, because my dad was a teacher in a Govt school, his principles did not allow his children to embrace convent education leaving Govt schools, it was not a question of affordability, rather of principles.

Also I am not a typical regular BTech student too, I am an AMIE graduate Engineer, who gone for the charted engineering after my diploma.

Though scored excellent GATE score and got admission to couple of IITs for MTech, I chose a stable job over PG.

I have no regrets over choosing my profession.

26 years of rich experience as got an opportunity to work along with best international experts from Canada, France & England.

Last 18 years are with top class bureaucrats, 4 Chief Ministers & 6 Irrigation Ministers of Kerala!

Then I had an amazing opportunity to work with India's best legal minds like Harish Salve, Dr. Rajiv Dhavan, Mohan Katarki, Jaideep Gupta, thanks to Mullaperiyar case & other inter state water disputes.

Also with Civil Engg dept, IIT, Delhi and Earthquake Engg Dept,IIT Roorkee.

I remember Dr. A.K. Gosain, IIT Delhi and Dr. D.K. Paul, IIT Roorkee both were HODs and experts international repute with fond memories, the affection and respect, they bestowed upon me was immense!

Thanks a lot to @mohankatarki who inculcate an interest for law & Constitution.

Many mentors, from my high school Maths & history teachers to my AMIE teacher Tom T Joseph of Visweswaraya.

In career I owe to Roque Cordoba of SNC-Lavalin, former Chairman KSEB Manoharan sir, Sayan Chatterjee IAS, K. Jayakumar IAS, V.J. Kuruan IAS, etc

Among political bosses, I am indebted to my former Ministers Late T.M. Jacob, N.K. Premachandran and P.J. Joseph who trusted and entrusted me daunting challenges.

From other side, I love Late Prof. Mohanakrihnan of TN, who was so fond me when we fight bitterly for Mullaperiyar!

Life is an amazing journey and I am content with whatever that offered to me.

So let me tweet on the subjects I have an opinion, make some graphs to make people understand it better and then scribble some articles once in a while.
