When nascent tyrants ban fishing or buying paint in the name of medical safety, it's an overreach and a trampling of liberty, which is bad/stupid. But dead people have no rights to protect. 2/10 #LiberateAmerica
We can fix problems of infringement on liberty, but we can't resurrect someone who caught COVID-19 from a protestor at a state capitol who gave it to them unmasked and unaware they had the virus. 3/10 #COVIDIOT
Those people are free to exercise their rights, and their assembling to address grievances to their government is protected under the First Amendment. But it's reckless and inhumane for these people to encourage others to join in their stupidity. 4/10
Think about what you're doing. Do you really believe COVID-19 is not as virulent and transmissible as all the data shows it is? Do you really think an impossible number of people are already infected without symptoms because there's not enough testing data? 5/10
Would you really bet your own life, or the lives of your loved ones on those beliefs? Do you really think you're invincible or that this is one big conspiracy to rob you of your rights? Do you really think New York City would shut down as a political power grab? 6/10
Don't fall for the conspiracy theory. In this case, life is more important. We will fix the economy. If you want to protest the shutdowns, fine. But the economy will not recover until the virus is under control, government decree or not. 7/10
If you want to help others suffering because they lost their jobs or income, then go to the freaking grocery story and buy gift cards. Post online "$25 Kroger cards free to those who need them" and give them away. Bless a local business with an online order. 8/10
Give to local charities or food banks. Participate in efforts to 3D print face masks and properly sanitize PPE for doctors and nurses fighting the virus nationwide. Do something besides sit on your behind and bemoan how you can't find toilet paper. 9/10
If you don't do these things, don't expect anyone, or me, to take you seriously. You are as bad as a moon landing hoaxer, or a 9/11 truther. You should be, and will be, ignored. 10/10 #TruthMatters
