Apart from 6 Inter Ministerial Central Teams constituted earlier, Home Ministry has today constituted four additional IMCTs, each headed by an Additional Secretary - level officer, to Ahmedabad, Surat, Hyderabad and Chennai - @HMOIndia #IndiaFightsCorona

Indore team has reported that:
There are 171 containment zones in Indore, of which 20 are critical
Adequate Kits, PPEs, masks and other safety equipment are available
Lockdown measures are being followed properly
Health infra and safety of health care workers being ensured - MHA

Indore team also inspected centres for Divyang Jan, quarantine centres, PDS shops, migrant workers and interacted with all stakeholders

Govt. has provided a facility whereby farmers are able to sell their produce at MSP without going to mandis, thereby decongesting them - MHA

IMCT, Mumbai has suggested installation of portable toilets in Dharavi, Mumbai to augment the number of community toilets - @HMOIndia #IndiaFightsCorona

Inter Ministerial Central Team, Mumbai has suggested to arrange for institutional quarantine for 2,000 - 3,000 people; to increase testing capacity and increase strength of surveillance teams using volunteers - @HMOIndia #IndiaFightsCorona

IMCT Mumbai also deliberated upon provision of medical facilities for non-#COVID19 patients.

In last 24 hours - 1,684 new cases, 491 recoveries

No. of people under medical supervision - 17,610

Total no. of recoveries - 4,748; recovery rate - 20.57%, a very +ve development

15 districts in the country now have not reported any fresh cases since the last 28 days (3 new districts added)

80 districts from (23 States/UTs) have not reported any new cases since the last 14 days

Results started showing on Mar 23, due to travel restrictions imposed earlier
