1/ From a priority standpoint, I have two central questions I'm looking to answer.

(1) Do those on a low carb diet traffic more fatty acids on ApoB LPs which could explain higher LDL Cholesterol?

(2) And whatever the reason, is higher LDL in this context pathogenic?
2/ I'm working with some incredible people to answer each of these questions. (See CitizenScienceFoundation.org)

Obviously #Covid19 caught my attention at the beginning of March and I sought to raise awareness given I've felt this is considerably worse than the flu.
3/ Of course, at this date almost everyone is well aware of the pandemic, of what part they can play in helping to reduce the spread (#FlattenTheCurve), and now we're entering a stage where there's contentious debate on policy decisions regarding next steps.
4/ Regardless, as I've mentioned from the beginning, my opinion of this crisis was going to weigh heavily on serological data. Now we're entering the stage of having more and more of this feedback to better assess our risk level, so there's much less to comment on anyway.
5/ Which is fine, as my original two objectives from above regarding lipids is, and will continue to be my primary focus.

Given the current environment, there's a lot more downside than upside in discussing this topic if your opinion is in any way nuanced, IMO.
6/ Ironically, there's a lot of silver linings to this. I've learned a lot about social media algorithms, immunology (esp as it relates to lipids/lipoproteins), and even many of my friends in this kind of situation (some I've been very impressed by, btw).
7/ My tldr on cv19 right now:

(1) I definitely think it is much worse than the flu and
(2) I don't think it's as bad as the worst of worst case scenarios I was imagining.

Even for as vague as that may sound, to some it will still be too controversial. And that's the problem.
