Israels largest bank admits to hiding $7.6B in US taxpayer assets so they could evade taxes on the money!

The banks Swiss division has plead guilty with the Israeli company reached a deferred prosecution agreement. They can avoid conviction by handing over all the #receipts!

Looks like the usual crossfire the banks keep finding themselves in! NY State banking regulators, US Treasury Dept., DOJ, even Federal Reserve. They must not be publicly traded in the US as I don't see SEC, but they are often separate in their sanctions!

USA Berman estimates the US customers evaded $1B in taxes by hiding this money in off-shore accounts. While that is valuable, the sources of the money might be the bigger motivator. Paycheck to US account, Swampy bribes go to your Swiss bank account!

Oh goodie! The bank agreed to "extensive Statements of Facts" laid out in the criminal charges covered by the agreements!

Seems this crime spree went on from 2002 until at least 2014!

2014 is when the FBI/DOJ flipped the major Swiss banks & this entire global Swamp draining began in earnest.

Looks like the bank has agreed that 4 of it's executive including 2 board members were active participants in the crimes. Expect to see them next if they haven't already been indicted!

Here is where their fines & restitution are going. Note this is only the beginning, all of the other countries will take these receipts & initiate prosecutions & fines. If they covered anything up, the US will hit them with another round!

BHBM thought the old rules still applied & thought it could survive pretending to cooperate like banks did in the past!
But that stopped working in 2017 with the DOJ's adoption of the Rosenstein Memo on cooperation & deferred prosecution agreements!

People still think each of these is an isolated case, but hundreds of banks have already succumbed to the Sessions/Barr DOJ!
