When allegations of sexual assault are made by a woman they should be taken seriously & investigated. This is true for the allegations against Biden, but also for the 20+ women who’ve come forward with credible allegations of assault by Trump. The same standards must be used.
So, follow the facts on Reade’s allegations about Biden & see where they lead. Republicans should have before & must now do the same for Trump. @ejeancarroll seeks his DNA to support credible allegations of rape. He should comply, much as Biden has called for release of records.
Demanding Reade’s claims be accepted while ignoring women who’ve made detailed, credible allegations about Trump is an insult to women, survivors & the #MeToo movement. This isn’t a political game, it’s about justice for survivors & accountability for perpetrators.
