Best, up-to-date (May 2nd) graph to show the US plateau of ~2,000 deaths per day for the past 3 weeks, continuing
The US also has company with India, Brazil and Russia as the only major countries not improving.
Besides the US, the hardest hit ones (UK, France Spain, Italy) are all, fortunately, on the descent.
4 hard-hit states now showing reduction of hospitalized patients, which is very encouraging after all what they have been through
The other half of the US long plateau is the N of confirmed cases.
Stuck at ~30,000 going into its 5th week.
As prior hot zones (like NY, NJ, MI, LA) cool, new ones arise and produce a pattern (with the 2,000 deaths/day) the likes of which are not replicated anywhere.
It used to be the BRIC countries lumped together.
Now it's the BRIUS.
