 This video is footage aired by #Iran's state-TV claiming to be scenes of the Iranian frigate Jamaran firing a cruise missile & "accidentally" targeting the military Konarak vessel.

However, this is #FakeNews.
2)
 This footage is of a Norwegian Navy test missile strike apparently back in November 2013.
3)
 This entire case is very suspicious & many are questioning #Iran's claims of an "accident" taking place.

There are unconfirmed reports claiming the Jamaran frigate had long left the area.

Report: Friendly fire incident during naval exercises off SE #Iran leaves dozens killed & injured

Iranian frigate Jamaran (L) apparently launched an anti-ship cruise missile & accidentally locked on the Konarak (R) vessel instead of the intended practice target.

 -Sources indicate more than 40 dead, 22 bodies found
-Officials claim only one dead, 12 injured
-Konarak vessel was placing a target at the desired site. A cruise missile fired by the Iranian frigate Jamaran locks on Konarak & not the intended target, leading to this incident.

 -Injured being transferred to the Chabahar port hospital in southeast Iran
-Some reports claim the Konarak vessel has been sunk
