Dr Henry says there will be circumstances that will be more urgent that others - mentions a friend whose uncle passed away leaving his aunt alone for weeks.

Q re meat processing plant in abby but workers didn't hear about co worker testing postive until weeks later.
Henry - says every case has investigation.many rumour perhaps where ppl don't have details. If there is a risk to others you will be informed.

Q - re orders keeping salons shut til end of month - will this change
Potential date for reopening is the 19th - this is the start of the process - working in consultation with sectors. Will be progression over period of time. Will be amending orders.

For restaurants and salons orders will be amended to reflect they must meet certain guidelines to open that could be as soon as the 19th Henry says.

Q antibody tests - where are we at? how might it roll out?
Henry - the test approved by health canada is one being used/validated here. Have cpl plans for serology 1/test samples different age grps over time 2/part of survey announced yesterday

Caveats/concerns remain.
1/ still don't know how long antibodies last in system and what level is needed - there's a council looking at this
2/ false pos/neg - even if 99% accurate there is still a problem with such a low level in the community.

Q re excess deaths - deaths indirectly caused by covid.
Henry - says national stats show there has not been an increase in excess deaths - there is a process underway here @CDCofBC getting cause of death info for every death during this time

Q re ongoing correctional facilities safety
Henry says working closely with prov and fed - mentions tragic outbreak at Mission. Says confident processes are in place and are being followed - gets regular reports.

Heading into next week, Dr Henry reminding people that the order of 50 max remains in place and is ok ONLY IF they can maintain safe distance.

If you are a teenager - if adding people to your bubble, she says, keep your group small and consistent and make an agreement about being part of each other's bubbles.

Starting next week religious services can continue IF they are less than 50 people who can keep at a safe distance. Says having it in the largest space possible - keep in mind those who are at risk. Make alterations so ppl aren't sharing items.

As retails stores open, Henry is saying shoppers must be efficient. But she says groceries have shown it is possible to be done safely so other stores need to follow same/similar protocols.

As ppl get more social Henry is saying to think about how to do things like BBQs safely first - who you need to protect, be consistent about who you are choosing to open your circle to. Don't share food. Outside better than inside. If inside limit time.

And back to kissing - and hugging - henry saying we do not want to be doing either of those things with people outside our circle. So, consider who is in your circle, she says, be judicious.
