Now that we have entered #Lockdown4point0, let's talk about a section that was the 1st to be thrown out of employment & will be the last to bounce back. With their savings exhausted, many artistes in Mumbai are struggling to pay bills & even buy 2 square meals #Lockdownextention
I know many artistes who came to Mumbai with dreams in their eyes but are now forced to consider leaving the city or look for any alternate job for their survival, be it hazardous. Most of them have parents to care care of. These are the artistes who make Mumbai the city it is
Some students of @KMMC_Chennai have started catering to artists in the city who are struggling with basic requirement of food. If you can, please help them so that people who worked tirelessly to keep us entertained and sane don’t have to sleep on an empty stomach today

3 incidents I covered where men in UNIFORM went beyond law to commit CRIMES. What action have they faced so far? NOTHING. ZILCH. ZERO. Coz victims weren't Ranauts

1 Sexual assault of Adivasis
2 Forced cremation in Hathras
3 Handing female victims to mob in Manipur

While we say no to any form of violence and stick to it no matter what, let the government, judiciary, and us as a society also give victims of grave injustice reasons to have faith in the system.

There's massive anger and hopelessness in people, & vile individuals like Kangana
are only triggering it. Even after being slapped, Kangana didn't have the decency to say, "I'm sorry for what I said. While violence is wrong, what I said was also wrong." One statement from her could have given so much hope. But instead,

My investigation - HOW THE COUNTRY IS BEING LOOTED IN THE NAME OF PANDEMIC AND PROTECTION

इस रिपोर्ट को देखिए और देश में हो रहे लूट के ख़िलाफ़ आवाज़ उठाये। जनता के पैसे पेड़ पे नही उगते।

#COVIDー19 #Corona #N95
Maha govt used to buy #N95 from Venus Safety at ₹11.6 in 2019 & ₹17.3 + gst in Jan 2020. As soon as #COVIDー19 struck, price of same product went up to ₹42 (more than 250% increase). Now, same mask was available in market for ₹180-350 & more. That's more than a 1000% increase
Prices kept on increasing because the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) did not cap the MRP even after #N95 masks were notified as essential commodity under the Essential Commodities Act.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY. Just don’t know if it’s sad or funny.

After hearing NO from at least 10 hospitals, rang up a senior doctor from a govt hospital in Mumbai at 12:30 in night to check if his hospital has a bed available for this 70 yr old patient with extreme breathing issues
Doctor sounded drunk and he blasted me for calling him at such an hour. I apologised thrice but told him that it was an urgent situation. Doctor didn’t hang up on me. He said “We are not the guardian angels. If the city is drowning, don’t hold us accountable for everything”
“If people are queuing up outside alcohol shop, govts are opening temples, hundreds are travelling without any social distancing, we can’t help the case. So please don’t call us for anything.”
