THIS IS A TRUE STORY. Just don’t know if it’s sad or funny.

After hearing NO from at least 10 hospitals, rang up a senior doctor from a govt hospital in Mumbai at 12:30 in night to check if his hospital has a bed available for this 70 yr old patient with extreme breathing issues Doctor sounded drunk and he blasted me for calling him at such an hour. I apologised thrice but told him that it was an urgent situation. Doctor didn’t hang up on me. He said “We are not the guardian angels. If the city is drowning, don’t hold us accountable for everything”
