1\. THIS CHILD & THIS MAN DIED OF #TETANUS!

It is a terrible disease that enters your body through #wounds & can kill in days if nothing is done fast!

{SHARE to create awareness!} ImageImage
2\. #Tetanus results from a #toxin produced by the bacteria called Clostridium tetani.

This toxin makes your muscles to contract on their own (i.e. involuntarily), becoming rigid like this; Image
3\. Tetanus lives in soil & animal feces. It can live there for years. It may then enter your body through:

-#Wounds contaminated with soil or feces

-Skin #punctures by nonsterile needles (e.g. when injecting illegal drugs, #tattoo or body piercing)
4\. Unfortunately, sometimes the injury is so small people don't even go to a doctor & can't remember when it happened.

Injuries that involve dead skin (such as #burns, #frostbite, #gangrene, or crush injuries) are more likely to cause #tetanus.
5\. Occasionally, tetanus results when a woman's womb or #uterus is damaged during an induced #abortion or #childbirth.

In some places in #Nigeria 🇳🇬 & other developing countries, soil contamination of the stump of the umbilical #cord causes tetanus in newborns. Infected umbilical cord stump
6\. Tetanus bacteria produce #spores. These are inactive or dormant.

The spores enable tetanus bacteria to survive when environmental conditions are difficult.

When conditions are favorable, the spores grow into bacteria.
7\. Once in the body, this bacteria start to produce #toxins which travel throughout the body & stop certain #nerves from sending signals to other nerves.

As a result, muscles start to contract on their own.
8\. Tetanus commonly kills by causing #asphyxia (deficient supply of oxygen to the body due to abnormal breathing), or sudden cardiac death.
9\. #Vaccination during childhood plus #booster doses every 10 years during adulthood can prevent tetanus.

That's why tetanus occurs mainly in people who have not been vaccinated or not kept their vaccinations up to date. ImageImage
9\. We can defeat #tetanus by spreading this message & encouraging both adults & children to ensure they are well #immunized against tetanus.

You never can tell when you'll sustain an injury!

After sex,

1. Pee
2. Wash up
3. Drink water
4. Cuddle

In that order.
1. Why should you pee?

Studies have shown that peeing immediately after sex helps to prevent urinary tract infections (UTI). The urine flushes out some germs that may have got stuck in the urine passage (urethra) during sex.
2. Why should you wash up?

Washing up the genital area gently with clean water after sex helps to maintain your hygiene, reduce your risk of infection risk, and freshens you up.

There are two openings in the vulva — the vaginal opening and the urethral opening.

The urethral opening is the hole you pee out of. It is a tiny hole located just below your clitoris. The vaginal opening is right below your urethral opening.
As a woman, during vaginal sex, organisms in your vagina might find thier way deep into your urethra due to two reasons:

1. The thrusting
2. The fact that your urethra is shorter (5cm) than that of men (20cm)

So you are more prone to getting urinary tract infections after sex.

HAVING SEX DURING YOUR PERIOD CAN STILL MAKE YOU PREGNANT ‼️

{Like & repost for awareness}
There's a myth going around that women can’t get pregnant if they have sex while on their period.

While this doesn't happen all of the time, it still happens some of the time.

Here's why:
1. Shorter menstrual cycle

Most women have a 28-day cycle. Usually, they bleed for 3 to 5 of those days and are most fertile during the ovulation stage around 12 to 16 days before the next period starts. If she has a shorter cycle, it means she also ovulates earlier.

Stop putting Maggi into your anus.
Stop putting Maggi into your anus.

Some people insert Maggi cube as a suppository or mix it with water to form an enema then use a syringe to inject it into their anus, because they want larger and rounder buttocks.
Most stock cubes like Maggi contain salt, sugar, pepper, cloves, onion, corn starch, soya lecithin, caramel color, preservatives, palm oil, disodium inosinate, and monosodium glutamate (MSG).
