Preferable: local, smaller scale energy projects where needed, not major infrastructure importing dirty, unjust Canadian energy

Why spend money on transmission lines when you could save MORE electricity by retrofitting buildings? She calls the energy we don't use "negawatts." It's the same in BC: we don't pursue conservation
