What I learnt on the Twitter this week:

1. Two months before the start of the new school year, Ontario's Education Minister announces he doesn't know the difference between a syllabus and curriculum.
2. Kenney says public funding of private/charter schools isn't rocket surgery.

3. Doug and Lecce tweet a grad celebration graphic with typos. Asked about the typos, Lecce says "This is why math skills are the key to kids' futures!"
4. Kenney government announces 2021 referendum. Says primary question will be, "How many more Issue Managers should we hire?"

5. Doug says he "feels the first two years of his government had a few hiccups, but mostly, has been successful." That's it. That's the funny part.
6. Rex Murphy becomes Kraft Dinner's newest social media influencer.
7. Lisa MacLeod tweets this week that she talked on the phone.

8. Doug says he won't legislate mask laws since that's municipal-level stuff. Does say he'll beef up police forces if a law is passed though.
9. Trump says he stayed in DC this weekend, instead of going golfing, because he wanted to oversee LAW & ORDER!! directly from the bunker.

10. Kenney's speechwriter turns out to be far-right Residential School denier and homophobe who once worked for Harper. Kenney says Bunner won't be fired because his job as speechwriter isn't to put words in Kenney's mouth. Also says Bunner's a simply delightful guy to work with.

11. UCP release tourism video promoting Edmonton. Shows scenes of every part of Alberta - but Edmonton. Kenney says due to the NDP's past failures Edmonton had to be cut.
12. Conservative support in polls plummets. Scheer says Trudeau is letting pollsters down.

14. Insiders say Doug planning cabinet shuffle. In unrelated news, Lisa MacLeod tweets that she made a phone call and Lecce sends a dozen LecceCookies to Doug's cottage.
15. COVID numbers skyrocket in the US. Florida Man says it isn't his fault.
16. Wendy Mesley is sorrynotsorry.

17. Saying it won't tolerate racism, NASCAR announces 95% decline in tickets sales. Trump announces $9B support package for white drivers.
18. Trump hints that he'll break up with US before they get the chance to dump him.
19. Trump releases new line of presidential sippy cups.

20. Conservatives outraged they can't learn Canadian history anymore because statues being removed. O'Toole chains himself to Kenora's Husky the Muskie in protest.
21. Ivanka unveils new line of upbeat floral print dresses at Human Trafficking event.
22. Andrew's still tweeting.

23. In interview, Trump says Bible is his favourite book. Asked which is his favourite verse, Trump says it's the part when Frodo and Samwise find the ring.
24. Asked if he likes New or Old Testament, Trump says he likes them equally but really likes the one Morgan Freeman's in.

25. Kingston's ER's inundated with people with really great nails and brows.
26. Doug announces the first thing he won't be cutting as premier is his mullet.
27. Doug says it's too early to decide if 2022 election to be postponed. Must watch polls first.
