Lest we misremember and think Fabrications About the PAP was some random anonymous/semi-anonymous page, it was profiled in @Stcom in September 2011. At the time, it was positioned as a response to the anti-PAP views online, fighting political distortions. 
Back then, @STcom reported that the page was "heavily moderated, with negative comments swiftly removed". Co-founder Jason Chua told them he wanted it to be a "clean page" where three/four years down the road, "people can read the truth and lies" and decide for themselves.
The page was also welcomed by members of the ruling party, even though they stopped at officially backing the pages.
So, this page, set up by people with supposedly no political affiliations to combat "slanted" views online, was meant to become a "clean page" where people could decide for themselves what "the real picture" is.
But...
But...
...by 2018, it was doing things like not only publishing, but also paying to promote as sponsored content, posts that claimed that I — and other members of #Singapore civil society — are "sellouts" and traitors. I would find threats or fantasies of violence against me on it.
What happened to Fabrications About the PAP? Did it get hijacked and taken over? No, because today's report (todayonline.com/singapore/face…) says it's run by Chua Chin Seng. Chua Chin Seng's full name is Jason Chua Chin Seng (mothership.sg/2016/06/pro-pa…) — so it's the same founder.
Throughout all this harassment and smearing of activists and critics, the PAP—who had welcomed FAP's establishment in 2011—didn't condemn such behaviour from its own supporters. @cheriangeorge has pointed this out too, in relation to other pro-PAP pages: airconditionednation.com/2020/05/10/onl…
