2/ yes, consumer biz is risky, hit driven, and all the tech giants like Facebook or Google would acquire you before it really gets big, but there are some investors who really like BtoC and consistently invest in the space.
3/ funds like @Maveron @davewu @betaworksVC @PereraThisara are good examples. Big funds like @a16z @BessemerVP @sparkcapital @benchmark do invest in consumer but need to know the right partner there and these partners at a big fund is always fighting for an internal allocation
4/ it comes to #gaming, you actually do have many funds to choose from @makersfundvc @LondonVP @BitkraftVC @PlayVentures @TranscendFund @initialcapital @MarchCPs #GriffinGamingPartners. They vary in size, stage and investment strategy so need to find a good match
5/ you should also think about the accelerator, too. @ycombinator is not for #consumers, I usually recommend Yellow accelerator @Snapchat and @thebetacamp . @biggiesu is doing great jobs at yellow and so do @DanikaDanika at betaworks.
6/ and also angel investors. Yes, it’s hard to find angel investors in general and more difficult to find consumer angel investors. @GFRFund has a network of consumer angel investors like @mikevorhaus @gamegoglobal @detsaridis @ErosResmini @antonber we work closely with.
