It seems Wirecard, bank services company that 'lost' $2.1B, may be connected to the organized crime busts that have been occurring all over Europe. May explain why the UK froze all Wirecard accounts 8 days ago! #ButNothingsHappening
I first heard of Wirecard last summer, when Financial Times hired investigators to determine if someone was paying their reporters in a Fusion GPS style operation to promote Wirecard or cover up their misconduct.
This lead the UK to freeze millions of accounts that used Wirecard software for credit card accounts.
Ernst & Young accounting firm seemed to have missed the fraud & missing money when they conducted their audits of the company.
I'm suspecting the collapse of Wirecard & the 1200+ organized crime arrests in Europe may all be connected to police gaining access to encrypted phone networks to gather evidence of criminal activities. #ButNothingsHappening right?
