Islamic standards for publicly warning from abusers who are public figures are much much scrutinizing and extend beyond secular defined crimes.

If someone admits to (iqrar) premarital sex, drug use, or abusr they lose community trust (isqat al 'adalah) & must be removed.
When in our time such Muslim public figures literally make money off of their public persona and perpetuate sins that are no longer private but oppreesion toward another, they are not allowed to exist in Muslim spaces with impunity.
Rape is a serious crime in Islam

Victims should be heard, protected, and oppressors should be taken into account, rooted out, investigated, and publicly warned from

We must create and support the organizations that will deal with the Islamic standard of abusers not the secular
Those who excuse such oppression under the guise of "no crime was committed" are ignorant of the Islamic standard of morality as well as our code of law which takes admittance (iqrar) of moral sins as the highest form of evidence.
A person's allegations are accepted and grounds to remove the status of trustworthiness (isqat al 'adalah) from community work, the abuser is investigated for breach of morality, and any crimes committed should be reported to the authorities and victims protected.
In Islamic law and understanding ethical code, there is a difference between applying criminal and corporal law in cases of Islamically defined abuse.

Criminal cases are of course more stringent.
In cases of corporal law.. public positions in Islam that require the condition of adalah - trustworthiness, evidence which is considered are not at the level of stringency as criminal.
Cases of abuse assess evidence from even one individual that strips trustworthiness from an individual in the public domain.

If that trustworthiness is established through evidence that it has been breached. They're removed from post.
After investigation depending on extent of the abuse it can even be publicized, esp if the person makes money off of public clout and public standing.

These all account for a contemporary understanding of tazir - judicial discretion for corporal and criminal punishments.
Our faith when it comes to interactions even takes it a step above:
people are enjoined to treat a person of the opposite sex with not only respect but not approach them in any way inappropriate or suggestive.

Abuse in any way shape or fashion is a priori egregious.
Any Muslim in the public eye needs to also be extra mindful of their ego, unchecked desires, & actions.

Private struggles are not the same as oppressions against another

This is why our faith teaches self accountability, constant intention checks, & having spiritual mentors.
