Commonwealth Edison is confessing to the crimes as part of a deferred prosecution agreement with a $200M fine and a requirement that they fully cooperate & hand over the #receipts many of which are detailed in the information & agreement! 
If ComEd fails to produce in accordance with the agreement over the next 3 years, DOJ can prosecute the corporation for the crimes they have already confessed to!

Appointing one of Madigan's friends to their board of directors, retaining a Swampy law firm, not pay jobs, contracts & internships for his friends & family.

It is going to be hard for former and soon to be former officers, employees, and agents to escape justice when your company has already admitted that you are guilty of the crimes!
Much of this was discovered by an internal investigation at ComEd in response to DOJ subpoenas & a description of the criminal conduct that FBI suspected was being conducted by their officers, employees & agents.
So the company flipped from day 1 once they knew they were caught!

ComEd even shared information that would otherwise be unavailable to the government, so records & information that would not have been found with search warrants & raids. Likely info that would have had attorney client privilege if they did not hand it over voluntarilty.
The individuals involved in this are entirely screwed. ComEd is going to be helping the feds get all the receipts!
They are flipping on the following list of people: "present and former directors, officers, employees, agents, lobbyists and consultants..."
Want to bet we will see a few people resign so the company can't order them to cooperate with the investigation?
Whoever is CEO at the end of the 3 year agreement will have to sign his life away that they gave it all up!

Per the agreement, everything confessed to in the Statement of Facts will be immune to prosecution against ComEd. Anything that hasn't yet been confessed may be charged. Plus any obstruction or perjury by officials may still be charged against the company.

While they call him Public Official A since he isn't named in this indictment, they take ZERO effort to hide that it is Michael Madigan the Illinois Speaker of the House!
I want to continue this a little, they are referring to Maddigan as an "agent of the State of Illinois" and the state's receipt of more than $10k in federal benefits each year.

Former CEO of ComEd who was promoted to an executive position at Exelon. Appears to be former Exelon Utilities CEO & former ComEd CEO Anne Pramaggiore who resigned late in 2019 following the subpoenas from FBI!
Ann Pramaggiore & her husband Michael Harrington have given bit to Illinois politicians including Ed Burke & Rahm Emanuel.
I haven't had time to run them down but their are also Senior Executive 1, Lobbyist 1 & Consultant 1 identified in the Statement of Offense.
