After I called Bangalore Incharge Minister Sri @RAshokaBJP on Sunday and requested for a meeting with private hospitals including a #corporator level meeting because of unavailability of beds, ICUs, ventilators past 20 days.

A meeting was finally held to figure out the process of #Covid treatment with the management of 27 private hospitals of #BangaloreSouth at Pai Convention Hall.

The crucial issues faced on the hospital end were voiced.

I requested the government and private hospitals to coordinate and cooperate properly for the benefit of the people.

I suggested the use of a WhatsApp group in order to keep a track of the availability of beds, ICUs, ventilators, etc.

And also to create an online domain or app that’d allow #livetracking of the same, accessible to everyone.

As of now, it takes a day’s time to coordinate with hospitals and get a patient admitted, this process needs to be shortened up as much as possible.

I requested reducing the bills amount to disadvantaged patients, and I insisted to not take admission of #asymptomatic cases and those displaying only minor symptoms, to save the limited facilities to those that need it more.

The launching of disinfectant #drones in Bangalore South region was done but frankly speaking I don’t know if having drones at this point of time is of much use. The details of the drones & what was used was not shared with us.

The ruling party is barely in touch with elected representatives at all especially people like us in opposition!
I requested for a meeting like this every 2 weeks. I really hope the minister incharge and MP do that.

People are dying because they are not getting ambulances or bed/HDU/ventilator/ ICUs on time we just just hope the government & the representatives to take things seriously at least now.

My humble request to everyone is Let’s work towards fighting this pandemic together irrespective of party lines.
