1/

The MN teachers union put out their list of demands for opening the schools.

In it, they not only talk about following the science re: COVID they talk about addressing the *racial and social inequities that plaque our system*  Equity is not new to the teachers union.
2/It has been a buzzword/topic for years.

Equity is not the same as Equality.

First bullet point goes back to listening to the science. What is interesting though is that if the TU actually listened to the science they would realize that children are not the super spreaders
3/ the media has lead everyone to believe.

Second bullet point it calls for strong paid leave policies and guidelines so *both* educators and parents can stay home if they are sick, caring for a sick loved one or the high risk. Basically, they are calling for *all* employers
4/ to redesign their paid sick leave policies for indifinite periods of time (for people who are high risk)

Third bullet point they are asking for sinks --- in addition to public health tools that prevent the spread of the virus that and *align
5/ them with education stategies that meet the needs of students*  it lists out the basics, sinks, sanitzer, cleaning supplies, masks, face shields, and other protective equiptment (like what?)as well as stringent cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Basically more money.
6/ sixth bullet point this is a biggie. Invest in recovery and redesign our schools. It will include how these "interventions" will require more money ("investments") in our schools, universities, hospitals, local and state governments- so they do not bother to only discuss our
7/ schools. They have added a bunch of other entities that do not have anything to do with our children. It is about "community" which transitions into equity.

Then it complains that the CARES money wasn't enough and of course the Democrats HEROES act provides billions of $
8/ to "keep our communities whole" which was largely written last year prior to COVID.

The final paragraph starts with a reminder that the decision to reopen though must be *rooted * in health, safety and equity and *not* be based on an arbitrary start date. A clear tell they
9/are NOT going to open the schools come Sept.

And as every good Democratic organization does - a crisis is nothing to waste, it goes on to state:

"Let's also see this moment as an opportunity to rebuild our public education system so all students, no matter what they look
10/ like or where they come from, have access to safe welcoming schools where they can pursue their dreams."

Ah, aren't we in a so called "health crisis"?
The TU had stopped pretending so we can too!
Open the schools! Enough is enough! ImageImage
End.

Last year was the intro into a new reality.

I am going to post some links, some links I post will not have any description because the overlords do not like definitions. (The newspeak dictionary is not complete yet.)

First up, while no one was looking Gov Tim was deciding 👇
"Placing Children At The Center of Government" was a great idea.

He executed EO19-34 (rescinded 11-05) and rebuilds his Children's Cabinet.
He also established his Children's Cabinet "Advisory Council" which per law can obtain funding from private 👇 revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/…

Going through the deposition transcript @nathanmhansen tweeted yesterday.
Lots of interesting information.

Apparently some of the reasons @mnhealth didn't contact trace retail was b/c ppl didn't talk, sneeze/cough.

MDH definitely doesn't have the A team
"We're only into our, you know, 13th or 14th month" (3/30/21)

Topic:
Reinfections (after 90 days)

There had *only* been 125 cases in MN.
Statistically zero.

This goes to show how long natural immunity lasts...

Thank you Nathan and team!

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WARNING ABOUT @JasonRarick what did you know when I asked you?
The Make A Plan Mn paperwork mimics childcare enrollment forms. Asking questions about what calms your child to if you have a will. Commissioner Malcolm has called this a "campaign" this summer, but now even the teachers union are tweeting about it. She has made sure to 👇
mention at least weekly on the presser calls the virus is not spread in the daycares. This plan has been in process for awhile. There are 2 statues in Mn which allow for quarantine/isolation. One is for ex parte (meaning you will not know nor be able to defend yourself in 👇

tested + for the 'rona all from MN. Mn chosen by CDC #vaccine program incl distribution program &how to ID ppl who need it 1st. (How is #HIPPA involved here?) NFL had contamination in lab. Kris says they know which company results come from.
Labs are responsible for the -/+ 👇
Results, the #NFL was a fluke. 🙄 (what about the Ohio gov test etc) kris said no test 100%, falls w/i parameters. 13418 tests 243 + cases from May riots. Why is #Malcolm on these calls, she passes almost all ?s to Kris unless she can harp on Trump. I hope she is not confirmed.

Listening to the @mnhealth call from Friday 8/14. No @MDHCommMalcolm. Kris is making sure to guilt the college kids into not having fun. Masks aren't working but that is *our* fault. Masks "doesn't fully cover everything", all parties must end. Bill Warner ? Wi v Mn numbers (cont
Kris says blames testing LTC for case count &too challenging to figure it out. Claims WI large cities put in restrictions. Doc Linfield compares us to Michigan/Illinois, which is also locked down heavily. Also says pandemic *will* continue for a *long time* 🤦‍♀️panic porn continues
Still no mention of riots, only bars/restaurants/parties causing the 'rona transmission. The contradiction of these calls is astounding. Kris has said in the past, limit get togethers even outside now they are ok but apparently only on campus?? 🤦‍♀️these calls are full of this (con
