I congratulate the people of #Iran on the 40th year of the foundation of the National Council of Resistance. The suffering, torture &struggles of consecutive generations of the Iranian people over 120 years made it possible to establish and sustain a democratic alternative.
The fundamental spirit of the NCRI Platform, the essence of its adopted plans, and the content of its most important statements and declarations are in a word summed up in the principle of the people’s sovereignty in place of the sovereignty of the Shah and the mullahs #Iran

From the February 11, 1979 uprising to June 20, 1981 to February 8, 1982, the will to rebel and revolt has been fortified in the confrontation against the onslaught by Khomeini, who plundered the fruits of over 70 years of the people's suffering & sacrifice. #FreeIran2020
Since then and as we saw in the recent uprisings, #Iran has continually been consumed by restlessness, revolt and rebellion for freedom. #FreeIran2020
The MEK refused to vote for Khomeini’s constitution, whose bedrock principle was absolute clerical rule. With the June 20, 1981 uprising, they cemented the decisive demarcation between the people & the mullahs, & paved the way for obtaining freedom. #Iran
