From the February 11, 1979 uprising to June 20, 1981 to February 8, 1982, the will to rebel and revolt has been fortified in the confrontation against the onslaught by Khomeini, who plundered the fruits of over 70 years of the people's suffering & sacrifice. #FreeIran2020
Since then and as we saw in the recent uprisings, #Iran has continually been consumed by restlessness, revolt and rebellion for freedom. #FreeIran2020
The MEK refused to vote for Khomeini’s constitution, whose bedrock principle was absolute clerical rule. With the June 20, 1981 uprising, they cemented the decisive demarcation between the people & the mullahs, & paved the way for obtaining freedom. #Iran

In the last few years there has been a concerted effort to promote a version of an event that took place in 1953, that has not only been exaggerated but filled with fabrications for political purposes, which neither the government in #Iran nor its
ppl to this day care about.
If 1953 is a major low point in #Iran's history why is #Zarif the only IRI official posting about it? Notice he only commemorates it in English. Such a major event in Iranian history shouldn't it warrant a tweet or a statement in Persian?
Wouldn't Khamenei, Rouhani, Rezaie, Larijani, Haddad Adel..(anyone)..post about it, a conference somewhere? Nothing. Silence. In fact, Zarif doesn't mention 1953 on Instagram or Telegram, two popular platforms in Iran (latter not so much these days due to censorship). Why?

-Most Iranians today do not remember the 1979 revolution & the Iran-Iraq War (meaning we should forgo all of the mullahs/IRGC crimes during that horrific period).
