@GovAndyBeshear is worshipping at the alter of masks to begin his daily briefing.
@GovAndyBeshear reminding us that his true character has been revealed during this time of crisis.
@GovAndyBeshear is pissed about people who see the data regarding his #MaskUpKY mandate. Says people who acknowledge cases have more than doubled since she mandates them are not good neighbors.
We are not directly quoting him, but deciphering.
@WDRBNews coming in late with their own live stream.
@GovAndyBeshear says he expects we will be able to reopen in-person classes on September 28.
Not sure how he’s so confident. Most likely he’s made up his mind and will regardless because none of this has ever been rational. He just feels like it.
23 Western KY counties getting $14 million in CARES Act reimbursement.
Testing announcement
@GovAndyBeshear says “we are operating under data”, before remembering @StevenStackMD and his epidemiologist testified data isn’t actually that accurate. Then says “mostly accurate.”
@StevenStackMD is really trying to do damage control on the huge increase in cases and the fact they’ve remained high. It’s only damage control of reporters have the stones to press them on it though, so they should be fine.
@StevenStackMD now low key implying more tests have led to more cases 😂
@StevenStackMD says we’re doing a good job even if sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.
@StevenStackMD is going a long way in explaining how challenging it is to get data. Not sure of this is a means of underscoring the fact we’ve had more cases than ever or if they are conditioning us for something to come.
@StevenStackMD says 20 yr old systems is what we are counting on to report mass data.
A teacher in the comments on facebooks says she is happy @GovAndyBeshear is saving here pension and her life 🙄
KEA dingbat confirmed.
@GovAndyBeshear: “we’re showing you where the human error is.”
Says the human error.
376 new cases. 54 under 18. Here he goes.
Going to hammer away at schools.
Total tests: 760,022
536 hospitalized down from 600 or so Sat.
Targeting Warren County. Says “the White House” says they have a 10% positivity rate. He got hit last week for not being able to show that data, so now he’s blaming @realDonaldTrump.
Five new deaths 94, 75, 63, 91, 73.
Social media feel good stuff.
@GovAndyBeshear hitting at child care centers for having some cases. Uses it to pressure school districts. Repeats he “doesn’t want to experiment with our kids”.
Rumor is @GovAndyBeshear took his kids to ride horses this weekend. Not exactly a safe thing. An equestrian even where many people were in attendance.
No school though!
Questions: @chriswnews asks if KY will use $300 for unemployment from federal government
@GovAndyBeshear says he has to get clarity on the rules. Wants to see if it is workable and if so we will take it.
Hoping someone will ask for an update on #unemployment since nobody asked last week.
Question if new restrictions are required.
@GovAndyBeshear says we are getting better every day. Believes current practices should see a decrease.
Note: we should have seen a decrease weeks ago.
@AcquistoA asks if he will publicize school outbreaks.
@GovAndyBeshear says they’ll announce tomorrow how they will report/shame schools.
We told you he’d be doing this.
Question on if he’s reviewed UofL football plan.
No.
@TomL_Ky_Today asks a good question on what the latest prison numbers are. Haven’t heard in weeks...
@GovAndyBeshear doesn’t have the numbers. Will have it tomorrow maybe.
@GovAndyBeshear says they’re still working through UI claims. “Still sending letters out.” Said he will eventually open up regional offices when he can. Remember he blasted @MattBevin for closing some brick & mortar offices when unemployment was 4%. Ironically, Beshear closed all
@GovAndyBeshear says he’s not allocating all CARES Act dollars because he may be able to use it on budget stabilization if congress approves.
@GovAndyBeshear puts pressure on @senatemajldr again, calling for a bailout to save his ass from the economic disaster he created here.
@GovAndyBeshear says stimulus money and $600 for UI helped the economy.
Which means people were spending money when they probably should have been saving it. Some not paying rent due to moratorium. Will owe rent when it expires. Not good news.
@GovAndyBeshear says he, as a parent, would “feel betrayed” if schools don’t report cases.
@GovAndyBeshear says prisons are tested when there is an outbreak. For those with none, people with systems are tested.
These empty robes ruled unanimously in favor of Beshear. That’s okay. It’s time to gear up & assure NONE of them remain on the bench next time they’re up for re-election. Pro Liberty orgs should make this court an election priority. We’ll be spotlighting each Justice below ⬇️⬇️
Good news❗️
Justice Wright, pictured here w/ @GovAndyBeshear’s dad, Steve Beshear, lost his re-election & will be replaced by Bob Conley, a judge who values the Constitution.
Bye 👋 Justice Wrong! Don’t let the mahogany 🚪 of the Court Chamber hit you in the ass on the way out
Unfortunately, @HDebralambert beat Judge Dan Ballou in 2018. Ballou is a constitutionalist & respects inalienable rights. We call on him to run again!
Lambert has the benefit of name ID, but now she has a clear record of spitting on our rights. She represents the 3rd district
We cover stories @courierjournal & others refuse to. Yesterday, the Health & Welfare Committee found @GovAndyBeshear’s reg deficient that would extend food stamps & other govt benefits to dead beat parents who’re not paying their child support. He’ll now decide to either...1/
...honor the legislatures wishes, or allow the policy to be implemented.
Time for some background.
@GovAndyBeshear has brought back Steve Veno, who served as commissioner of the income support office under Steve Beshear’s administration. 2/
After @MattBevin took office, he cleaned out swamp creatures from Frankfort, like Veno, who mismanaged state govt.
Bevin’s commissioner saw imbedded policy & procedure issues, but changing ingrained ideas & policy is difficult. So he requested @KyAuditorHarmon examine. 3/
Our sources allow us to do the quick independent journalism major outlets like the @courierjournal ( @MattGlo ) won’t do. Here’s another example‼️ @GovAndyBeshear’s admin investigated itself & concluded that it did nothing wrong! 😃 1/8
In fact, despite @GovAndyBeshear being the head of the Executive Branch & HIS appointees being at the helm of offices such as UI, it was determined that @MattBevin is to blame! You can’t make this garbage up. Actually, YOU CAN, & the @courierjournal will publish it! 2/8
Okay, now for what @MattGlo & the @courierjournal didn’t include. Let’s take a look at the “Inspector General of @KYTC, Maryellen Mynear,” & ask a reasonable question: “Can she “conducts a full & independent review?” The following info should peak a journalists interests. 3/8
Unsurprisingly, Buckner, legal staff for @GovAndyBeshear began with fear mongering. It’s clear their argument is that fear of #COVID__19 outweighs the fundamental rightist enshrined in the Constitution.
Judge Vanmeter asks Buckner to speak on the argument that @GovAndyBeshear’s execitive actions are arbitrary, citing childcare centers.
Unlikely to be reported by news networks here in KY.
Our sources have confirmed that Robert Conway (Dem who challenged @KYAgCommish for @kentuckyag) has been FIRED as Commissioner of KY State Parks within the @KentuckyTourism, Arts & Heritage cabinet. #TeamKentucky
This isn’t surprising. He clearly has anger issues (see Fancy Farm 2019). Sources say he was providing special perks to his family members staying at parks. He was always unqualified. Leave it to @GovAndyBeshear to make such political appointments. Sen. Thayer was spot on in Jan!
Sonka tweeting about Union Co. schools, which hasn’t even begun in-person learning, shows that even @GovAndyBeshear backing reporters are recognizing fear mongering about a return to in-person learning isn’t playing out like they thought it would.
Yellow numbers are districts that have begun in-person learning prior to @AndyBeshearKY’s arbitrary date of Sept 28 🗓 . Some restarted in August. Red numbers are from true #COVID19 hotspots & also where colleges are located (which have students on campus. Because 💵) 2/6
Blue indicates independent districts.
As you can see, a day of reckoning is not occurring in schools that have dared to defy @GovAndyBeshear, @KyDeptofEd, @LtGovColeman, & @StevenStackMD. In fact, some districts with no in person learning has more cases than those with it! 3/6
