Seeing TONS of paid ads (many not marked as such) on @Facebook like this one by the @amprog (Center for American Progress) that are pushing HARD on mask mandates and endless lockdowns.

As to the article; it's merely a 'survey' targeted to Michigan (or insert your state' here) not seeking any REAL response, other than to push a vague, surreptitious 'Experts Say' 'Appeal to Authority' propaganda tactic, throwing out phony statistics w/no citation or evidence.

Sorry to see so many people not understanding the basics of virology, immunology and the life cycle of EVERY virus. Too many (including our 'leaders') now are pushing the trope that we should 'stop' the virus.

That's not how it works, as any HONEST virologist or immunologist would tell you. Many would tell you the time for masks is during the beginning to 'flatten the curve'. BTW, that means DELAYING infections for many- not 'stopping' the virus.

Viral pandemics follow a predictable pathway through the population, with some more virulent and deadly than others, but they ALL follow the same general 'life cycle'.

Many experts in virology & immunology would tell you the time for masks is during the beginning to 'flatten the curve'. BTW, that means DELAYING infections- not 'stopping' the virus. After that, masks are only effective in stopping contagious people from spreading the virus.

Protect our most vulnerable, but quit imposing illogical and politically-expedient rules on the general population. If that had happened at the beginning of the #COVID19 outbreak, perhaps many of the 40-60% of TOTAL COVID Deaths in Nursing homes would have been prevented.

Research ineffectiveness of masks in NEJM, Lancet other medical journals, as well as DRAWBACKS of not only masks, but imposed quarantines- which in fact help SPREAD disease through confinement- preventing the population from achieving 'Herd Immunity'.

Bottom line: Do your OWN research. Don't just 'trust the really smart people on TV'. Don't take medical advice from paid political shills on ANY side, like Center For American Progress. There seem to be Snake-Oul Salesman everywhere. Including in government & BigPharma.
