I took action to force the Trump Organization, and specifically EVP Eric Trump, to comply with my office’s ongoing investigation into its financial dealings.

For months, the Trump Organization has failed to fully comply with our subpoenas in this investigation.
Our investigation began after Michael Cohen testified before Congress that Trump’s annual financial statements inflated the values of his assets to obtain favorable terms for loans & insurance coverage, while also deflating the value of other assets to reduce real estate taxes.
We are seeking thousands of documents and testimony from multiple witnesses regarding several Trump Organization properties and transactions, including from Eric Trump, who was intimately involved in one or more transactions under review.
The Trump Organization has stalled, withheld documents, and instructed witnesses, including Eric Trump, to refuse to answer questions under oath.

That's why we filed a motion to compel the Trump Organization to comply with our lawful subpoenas for documents and testimony.
Nothing will stop us from following the facts and the law, wherever they may lead.

These questions will be answered and the truth will be uncovered, because no one is above the law.

#BREAKING: I just filed a lawsuit to stop President Trump from undermining the #USPS and the November presidential election.

These authoritarian actions are not only jeopardizing our democracy but the immediate health and financial well-being of Americans across the nation.
These disruptions are already having life-threatening impacts on veterans and seniors who aren't getting their medication, economic impacts on individuals waiting for their pensions and paychecks, and could significantly undermine the #USPS's ability to handle mail-in ballots.
This slowdown is nothing more than a voter suppression tactic, and we will do everything in our power to put a stop to the president's power grab and ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast a ballot come November.

#BREAKING: I filed a lawsuit to dissolve the National Rifle Association for years of self-dealing and illegal conduct.

The @NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse.

No organization is above the law.
We are seeking to dissolve the NRA for years of self-dealing and illegal conduct that violate New York’s charities laws and undermine its own mission.

The NRA diverted millions of dollars away from its charitable mission for personal use by senior leadership.
Our lawsuit charges the NRA as a whole and four senior leaders, including Wayne LaPierre, with failing to manage the NRA’s funds and failing to follow numerous state and federal laws.

These actions contributed to the loss of more than $64 million in just three years for the NRA.

#BREAKING: I'm filing a lawsuit to stop the Trump administration from removing protections in the #ACA that would allow health care providers to discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and other vulnerable communities.

I won't let this administration take us backwards.
The rule is dangerous and will put lives at risk.
 
Transgender individuals could be denied care.
 
Women could be denied care.

People with limited English proficiency could be denied language assistance needed to obtain care and understand their rights.
It is never acceptable to deny health care to Americans who need it, but it is especially egregious to do so in the middle of a pandemic.
 
Health care is a basic right and that's why I'm leading 23 states to fight to protect it.
