This #WomensEqualityDay, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and reflect on the ongoing fight and struggle for women's equality, let's recognize the role @POTUS has played in denigrating women with his words & actions. Since 2017 he has:

Condoned discrimination by allowing virtually any employer or school to deny women no-copay birth control, used not only to prevent pregnancy but also to reduce cramps, lighten periods, and prevent acne, bone thinning, breast & ovarian cysts, anemia, endometrial & ovarian cancers
Decimated Title IX civil rights protections for survivors of sexual harassment and assault at K-12 schools and colleges, kowtowing to rape apologists. His changes will subject survivors to live cross examination and make it harder to come forward or hold perpetrators accountable.
Reversed an Obama-era EO that required large companies to report wage data based on race, gender and ethnicity to the EEOC. This crucial data would've made it easier to fight pay discrimination and narrow the gender wage gap which deprives women of on avg $10,000 each year.
Nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, delivering on his campaign promise to overturn Roe v. Wade. His fomenting of violence, hatred and disgust toward Dr. Christine Blasey Ford no doubt wreaked havoc on survivors, many of whom now question coming forward.
Took his war on women global by slashing all US funds to @UNFPA, which works in 150 countries to provide reproductive healthcare, end maternal mortality, & combat gender-based violence. The funds we gave in 2016 helped 800K women w/contraception & prevented 100k unsafe abortions.
For #RoeVWade anniversary, reinstated the Global Gag Rule which forces providers to choose between US funds or providing patients w. accurate info about their reproductive health options. This rule has disrupted access to programming for HIV/AIDS, nutrition, family planning & TB.
Locked children in cages, separating mothers from their babies. Vilified immigrants, ended DACA, tried to halt immigration for domestic & gender-based violence asylum seekers, and drastically cut the number of refugees welcomed to our nation's shores.
Actively trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act in the courts amid a global pandemic, even as 67 million women and girls have preexisting conditions & millions depend on the ACA for their health care.
Actively trying to undermine Social Security even though HALF of all women 65 and older would be poor without it & women are more financially insecure than men in retirement.

Packed the courts with anti-choice, anti-worker, anti-woman judges who support his right-wing agenda to chip away at abortion rights & worker protections.
Refuses to recognize LGBTQ people as people - allowing doctors to refuse to provide health care, condoning discrimination in housing and the workplace, & erasing mention of LGBTQ people from Administration websites.
Refuses to take responsibility for the COVID-19 pandemic & pass a relief bill even as women and children are sick and dying, domestic violence is on the rise, families risk eviction, & our child care industry is on the verge of collapse.
I could go on and on. So as Trump undoubtedly tries to tout his meaningless record in support of women & girls - such as pardoning Susan B. Anthony - we won't be fooled. Trump has been the greatest threat to women in generations - it's why we've led the charge against him.
